LECTURER-CONSULTANT(S) IN DEVELOPMENT ANTHROPOLOGY

Applications are invited from social anthropologists
for one or more posts in an established consultancy
team giving social development advice to the ODA's
Joint Funding Scheme. There may also be the
opportunity to contribute to the Department's teaching.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in social anthropology,
or equivalent relevant professional and/or research
experience. They will have special interests and
expertise in development and, preferably, experience
of the NGO sector. Their expertise may cover any part
of the developing world.

The appointment(s) will be for up to one year from
1st October 1995 in the first instance, and will be
on the scale: (sterling) 14,756-(sterling) 18,486
per annum.
