previous posting regarding discussants for my electronic media panel at the
SfAAs. I am still analyzing the responses and will be back to you all soon.

On yet another positive note, my panel has been expanded to "two"
panels. Preliminary titles are:

Panel #1 : "Electronic Media and the Anthropologist: New Tools for an Old
Trade."

... to include paper discussions of electronic media applications in
anthropological research from agriculture to tourism.

Panel #2 : "Colonizing Cyberspace: Cultural and Societal Impacts of the
Information SuperHighway."

... discussions of positive and negative affects of Net Culture
from general enthnography to current and future educational
applications.

There is still room for a couple of additions on either panel and
all interested in participating are encouraged to contact me by e-mail, voice,
or snail mail. I have been given an extention into July on finalizing my
selections of discussants and obtaining abstracts. Please excuse any
duplice receptions of this message due to cross postings. I'll soon have a
listserver up and operating (of my own) for all session participants. Private
e-mail replies requested as I am currently not on Anthro-l. Thank you!
