How do you get that the fitness of the population is being severely
reduced? Isn't just as likely that the deaths of people who exercise
their free will in this way actually increases the fitness of the population
as a whole by removing individuals with tendencies, not only towards
self-destruction, but also towards spreading incurable diseases?
