URBAN PLANNING/LAND MANAGEMENT EXPERT (Team Leader - length of stay in Maputo : 13
Months)
Requirements : At least 15 years experience in structure planning, action planning, urban land
management, management of urban development, technical training; including at least 5 years at a
senior level in Mozambique or similar developing countries. Reasonable ability to understand, speak,
read & write in Portuguese is essential.

ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNER / MANAGER (Length of stay in Maputo 13 Months)
Requirements : At least 10 years' experience, including at least 5 in developing countries in the
preparation of environmental analyses, especially in urban areas, environmental planning,
environmental protection measures, urban environmental management. Reasonable ability to
understand, speak, read & write in Portuguese is essential.

SOCIOLOGIST - DEMOGRAPHIC EXPERT ( Length of stay in Maputo 4 Months)
Requirements : At least 10 years' experience, including 5 years in developing countries, including
socio-economic and demographic studies, data analysis, projections, rapid appraisal techniques,
community participation. Reasonable ability to understand, speak, read & write in Portuguese is
essential.

FINANCIAL ANALYST - ECONOMIST (Length of stay in Maputo approximately 7 months, in shorter
periods)
Requirements : At least 10 years' experience including at least 5 year in urban economics (including
the informal sector) and financial analysis of urban development in developing countries. Reasonable
ability to understand, speak, read & write in Portuguese is essential.
