I fourth it! And I want to thank everyone for finally picking up on this
thread. It gives me hope that I am not alone in my dogged determinism that
this is worthwhile anthropology, (and vital to our understanding of American
culture, multiculturalism, and the relationship of the body to the self, but
that's my own crusade) Everyone's comments are really helpful - keep 'em
coming!
