One of the factors that has been identified in the rise of Nazism was the
loss of communications between the German intellectuals and the German
worker class. They literally spoke different langages and no-one was
allowed to translate effectively because the microphone was owned by the
voice of hatred. I believe we are seeing a parallel in our own culture,
as the voices of optional viewpoints get lost in the white noise of
material monoculture. The anti-entropic nature of this list in the
dissemination of reports from Mexico is syntactically wonderful.
Unfortunatly, many of us cannot read Spanish. Will someone with credibility
at stake please translate the communications coming out of Mexico into
English. If we are really interested in the cultures to the south, we
should learn the languages ourselves, but in this case, time does not
permit. A greatly appreciated service would be recognized.
