your post of the seventh pointed in the right direction i.e. away from those
techno-as-the-sole-driving-force types, but could you expand on why the techno
outlook should exclude women? Perhaps there is plenty of anthropolgical evidence
for the assertion, but can we directly apply that to early hominids without
batting an eyelid when there seems to be quite an even pattern of tool use across
the sexes in chimps? Thoughts please,
