Hi all. It comes to mind that we all need to be made more aware of the
current state of copyright in regards to messages posted on the Net. My
My understanding is that all messages posted on the Net fall under
the realm of copyright. Messages posted to a list are sort of public
domain in that medium, but are not open to reposting to another medium
without permission. Similarly, messages posted to any one person,
personally, are not to be copied to the list as a whole without
permission. If anyone out there has good copyright knowledge, please
let me know how accurate this is. In the meantime, these constraints
should serve us a good guidelines, I think.
