Re: Peasant ethnographies

On Feb. 16 Lee Cronk asked for suggestions on a good peasant ethnography
for his world ethnographies class. The following bibloography probably
provides more that he wanted, but I have put put "*" before several that I
have used in classes of general students and have had good luck with. Many
of the others are also excellent possibilities that Lee or other may want to
take a look at, especially those published by Holt, Rhinehart and Winston
and by Waveland. They are inexpensive (especially Waveland publications)
and are written for course use - lots of pictures, not too complex, etc.
