I have not read the book you mention, but have just finished 'The Code of
Codes: Scientific and Social Issues of the Human Genome Project' edited
by Kevles and Hood, which along with Levine and Suzuki's 'The Secret of Life'
(the book that accompanied the tv series) which I found useful. The 1989
edition of the Canadian magazine 'Genome' has a fine series of articles on
the implications of the genome project (Volume 31, pp.870-900 or there
abouts.
