We are planning a session on The Ethnography of Corrections for the
1994 Annual Meeting of the American Anthropological Association in Atlanta,
and are soliciting papers based on ethnographic research that has been
conducted in prisons and/or at the interface between corrections and the
public sphere. The deadline for submission of abstracts is February 1,1994.
