woman; I do not know if you would put Sharon Gmelch's work with the Irish
Tinker woman Nan in that category. Not yet out, but try Sally McBeth at
the University of Northern Colorado. She is working with a Shoshone woman.
You can read about her work process in my new edited book "When They Read
What We Write: The Politics of Ethnography". She has a piece on producing
a collaborative life history.
