NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY. The Department of Sociology and
Anthropology invites applications for a tenure-track position in
sociocultural anthropology at the rank of Assistant Professor
beginning Fall 1994. Ph.D. in Anthropology required. Candidates
should be able to teach a course in one other subfield and a course
in history/theory. While geographic area and sub-specialties are
open, candidates with teaching/research interests in ecology,
economics, religion, medical, social org., or folklore are
especially encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include teaching
undergrad. and grad. courses and active engagement in research.
