I agree w/ your evaluation. It seems, to state it simplistically, that
"our" beliefs are real and "others'" are myths. Your statement that the
closer that other's beliefs are to one's own, the less myth-like they are
is , I believe, valid. Perhaps I should have used the word "truth" rather
than real?
The blending of meaning of the terms ideology and myth is interesting.
Are they really the same thing? I like your thread and would like to
throw in my humble opinion when I have more time!
