Kuna Yala

Can someone report, however briefly, on current developments at Kuna Yala
in Panama? I have reports as late as 1985 from John Bodley (Tribal
People and Development Issues), and this morning I viewed a video from
World Resources Institute, including footage I take to be from late 80's.

So how are things going there now?

In more general terms, I would like to see recent info and discussion of
more or less positive experiences in ecology and development (regarding.
Kuna Yala as such an example).

Very generally, we need to talk about "good news" in culture change, wherever
we can. How about sharing whatever comes to mind, on this theme?
