Assistant Professor of Anthropology
University of North Texas

The University of North Texas invites applications for an Assistant
Professor position in its Institute of Anthropology, the appointment
to begin September 1995. UNT, located in Denton, Texas, is a
metropolitan/comprehensive university serving the North Texas region.
The Institute of Anthropology is one of 10 academic units within the
School of Community Service.

A PhD or ABD in anthropology is required. The position is for an
applied anthropologist with interest in urban populations.
Applicants must have research experience in Sub-Saharan Africa, the
Caribbean, Latin America, or among African or Hispanic Americans.
Special consideration will be given to those with medical, ethnic
relations, public policy, or other urban interests.
