If she reads Portuguese and Spanish, I suggest "A Antropologia na
America Latina" (George Zarur, ed.), 1990, published by the Latin American
Institute For Geography and History (OAS) in Mexico City, with a discussion of
Anthropology in seven different Latin American Countries.
