Pittsburgh on Native peoples. This list represents acquisitions for the
month of March 1994. At the request of several recipients of the list,
I have broadened the list to include titles on Native peoples outside of
the Americas as well.

ALthough this was my original intention, lack of time and sheer
volume have prompted me to keep the list focused on the Americas. This
has given some people the impression that the University of Pittsburgh
does not buy books on other Native peoples. This is certainly not the
case; I just haven't had time to do more, but I will as often as I can
from now on.

Thanks for all of the words of thanks and comments - I am glad
to know that the list is useful to people. -- Lisa Mitten
